Most founders we talk to have the same worry: how do we launch quickly without building something we’ll have to throw away? After delivering more than 150 projects, we’ve found that eight weeks is the sweet spot. It’s long enough to build something real and short enough to keep the team focused.

Here’s the plan we follow.

Weeks 1–2: Discovery and scope

Before writing a single line of code, we sit down with the founders to answer three questions: who is the user, what problem are they paying to solve, and what is the one action that proves the product works?

That last question defines the MVP. Everything that doesn’t support that core action goes on a “later” list. A typical outcome is a short list of user stories, clickable wireframes and a clear definition of “launched”.

An MVP isn’t a smaller version of your final product. It’s the fastest way to learn whether your idea works.

Weeks 3–4: Design and foundations

Our designers turn wireframes into polished screens while engineers set up the foundations that are painful to add later:

This is where “not cutting corners” matters most. These pieces take a few days now but save weeks of rework after launch.

Weeks 5–7: Build in weekly sprints

We build the core features in one-week sprints and demo working software every Friday. Founders give feedback while changes are still cheap, and nobody gets surprised at the end.

We also write automated tests for the critical paths, such as sign-up, payments and the core action, so we can move fast without breaking things.

Week 8: Polish, test and launch

The final week is for bug fixes, performance tuning, a security review and onboarding the first real users. We hand over full documentation and code ownership, and stay on to support the launch.

The result

At the end of eight weeks, you don’t just have an app. You have a product real users can try, data on how they use it, and a codebase that’s ready to grow with you.
